Who is Linh? And Why Was Herbvian Born?
Herbvian was founded by Linh – a woman born and raised in a coastal village in Central Vietnam. Her childhood was deeply rooted in the blue sea, white sands, and the simple, down-to-earth lifestyle of the local people: washing dishes with loofah sponges, washing her hair with soapberry and herbs, bathing with boiled leaves like lemongrass and ginger... These everyday rituals were once so ordinary, yet gentle and lasting.
As she grew older, Linh moved away from her hometown to study and work in the city. But when she returned years later, she was shocked to see how much things had changed. Plastic waste, foam food boxes, plastic bags, and single-use cups were everywhere – clogging streams, beaches, and rivers. The clean and peaceful image of her hometown, once etched in her memory, was now buried under the fast-paced convenience of modern life.
Unable to sit still, Linh knew she had to act – even in a small way. From the familiar memories of her childhood and her deep concern for the environment, Herbvian was born: a humble yet heartfelt effort to bring back a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable way of living.
Herbvian’s Mission
Herbvian wasn't created to follow trends. It began with a simple belief:
living green means living simply, living kindly, and starting with small actions.
Using ingredients that are often overlooked – like loofah, soapberry, turmeric, papaya, moringa – Herbvian crafts products that are not only safe for the body but also eco-friendly and fully biodegradable.
But Herbvian’s mission doesn’t stop there.
